RECREATIONAL CERTIFICATE (RPC)
If you’re passionate about recreational flying and don’t require the additional privileges of a PPL, the Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC), is the perfect choice. Whether you’re looking to fly for leisure, explore a thrilling new hobby, or seek an affordable pathway into the aviation industry, the RPC caters to your needs.
With the RPC, you’ll have the opportunity to pilot a modern, highly maneuverable, and cost-effective Light Sport Aircraft (LSA). This ensures a remarkable flying experience with enhanced control and efficiency during your training.
Issued by Recreational Aviation Australia Ltd (RAAus), the RPC empowers you as a pilot in command, allowing you to operate an RAAus Registered Aircraft within a 25 nautical mile radius of your departure aerodrome.

RECREATIONAL PILOT LICENCE (RPL)
The Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) presents an exceptional opportunity for aspiring aviators to begin flight training even without prior flying experience. One of the key benefits of obtaining an RPL is the potential to fly into or in close proximity to bustling controlled aerodromes with the right additional training. Moreover, RPL holders can acquire various endorsements, such as aerobatics or specific design features, which might not be feasible with recreational aircraft, opening doors to piloting larger and faster planes.
Issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) , this licence empowers pilots to operate General Aviation aircraft weighing up to 1500kg within a 25 nautical mile radius from their departure aerodrome.
PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE (PPL)
Unlock the Skies: Advance with a Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
Embark on the next level of your aviation journey with a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) – a pivotal step in expanding your licence type. Authorized and issued by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority), the PPL empowers you to take to the Australian skies as a solo pilot, commanding aircraft weighing up to 5,700kg, and even welcome passengers on board. Sharing the joy of flight with others is made possible, as you can legally split the aircraft hiring expenses with your passengers. However, it’s important to note that flying for hire or reward requires a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). Soar higher and embrace the freedom and responsibilities that come with a PPL.

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE (CPL)
Earn your internationally recognized Commercial Pilot Licence issued by CASA, unlocking opportunities to fly for hire or reward. This professional level license serves as the essential qualification for aspiring charter pilots and those seeking to conduct air-work operations in their first professional role. Take the first step towards a rewarding aviation career with our comprehensive Commercial Pilot License program.
PRIVATE INSTRUMENT RATING (PIR)
The Private Instrument Rating (PIR) grants pilots the privilege to operate as the pilot in command in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions, including flying in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) or within clouds. Additionally, the IR certification qualifies the holder to proficiently execute instrument approaches they have been trained and tested for.
