LAUNCH YOUR AVIATION CAREER WITH HM AIR & WHITE STAR AVIATION

The HM Air Pilot Pathway Program is designed for aspiring pilots seeking a direct pathway into the aviation industry. Delivered through a partnership between White Star Aviation and HM Air, this unique cadet program combines professional flight training, operational experience and industry mentorship to develop pilots who are genuinely ready for commercial aviation operations.

The program has been specifically designed to bridge the gap between flight training and employment, providing cadets with the qualifications, skills and operational experience required to commence a rewarding aviation career.

A DIRECT PATHWAY INTO COMMERCIAL AVIATION

The HM Air Pilot Pathway Program has been developed to provide aspiring pilots with more than just flight training. Through a partnership between White Star Aviation and HM Air, cadets gain access to a structured pathway that combines industry-recognised qualifications, operational flight experience and employment opportunities within a commercial aviation environment. HM Air is a well-established aviation operator servicing regional and remote Australia through charter, freight and specialised aviation services. This partnership allows cadets to gain valuable insight into real-world aviation operations while developing the skills, professionalism and decision-making abilities required of commercial pilots.

Unlike traditional training pathways, the HM Air Pilot Pathway Program is designed to bridge the gap between graduation and employment. Students are trained with a clear focus on industry readiness, ensuring they graduate with the confidence, operational awareness and practical experience required to transition into professional aviation roles. For aspiring commercial pilots seeking a direct route into the aviation industry, the HM Air Pilot Pathway Program offers a unique opportunity to train with purpose, build meaningful industry connections and take the next step towards a rewarding aviation career.

HM AIR PILOT PATHWAY PROGRAM

INDUSTRY-FOCUSED FLIGHT TRAINING

A key feature of the HM Air Pilot Pathway Program is the integration of real-world operational experience into the Commercial Pilot Licence training pathway. Cadets complete a comprehensive 250-hour flight training program while undertaking the AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) and AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating). During the final stages of Commercial Pilot Licence training, students complete commercial navigation flights in HM Air aircraft while operating company charter routes under carefully supervised, scenario-based training. This operational experience allows cadets to develop practical decision-making skills, gain exposure to commercial aviation procedures and become familiar with the operational standards expected within the aviation industry. The result is a graduate who is not only qualified but equipped with the experience and confidence required to transition directly into professional aviation operations.
